Sharad Chandra Arts and Commerce College was established in 1992, an affiliate of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University( RTM NU), conducted by SaiKrupa Education Society, Butibori.
The college offers under-graduate (UG) programmes in the faculty of Arts and Commerce. In addition, ‘Add-on’ courses like ‘Entreprenuership Skill Development for Women’ and ‘Spoken English’ are available for admitted students.

Sharad Chandra Arts and Commerce College was established in 1992, an affiliate of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University( RTM NU), conducted by SaiKrupa Education Society, Butibori. It is a primere institution catering to the educational needs of this rural area. Under the patronage of Hon. Shri Datta Meghe, Ex-MP, who is the Chairman and a father-figure alongwith being a great source of zest and morale and Smt. Pratibha Mahant, Secretary, a great motivator and task master, the college has flourished and intends to scale new heights in its endeavour to make every student self-reliant.

Why Are We Different?
The college aims to foster a passion for learning and creative thinking, research and innovation among all the stake holders.
It is a two-faculty institute of higher education with an enrolment of 450 students.The college offers under-graduate (UG) programmes in the faculty of Arts and Commerce. In addition, ‘Add-on’ courses like ‘Entreprenuership Skill Development for Women’ and ‘Spoken English’ are available for admitted students. The students also become a part of UGC sponsored Gandhian Study Centre and Dr. Ambedkar Study Centre (any one), once admitted. This helps them to learn more about these Epoch-making Social Thinkers, creating an inspirational impact on their psyche. The College is a Study –centre of Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University.
